I'm So Glad You're Here
Let me introduce myself...
My name is Catherine Ann Wilson, and my work is rooted in meeting you where you are. You might come in feeling off, drained, or carrying the weight of something—whether that’s recovery from illness or surgery, loss, stress, or just the feeling that you haven’t had space for yourself in a long time. Reiki allows us to sit together and see what unfolds, rather than trying to fix or force anything. I am a master reiki therapist, a HeartMath Certified Trainer, trained hypnotherapist, and practitioner of transcendental meditation; my focus is always on the energy work and what you need in that moment. This is a quiet, supportive process—one that helps you reconnect, rebalance, and move forward feeling a little lighter and more like yourself.
Nestled along the peaceful shores of Sebago Lake in Maine, Between Woods and Water is a space I’ve created for rest, reflection, and healing. Surrounded by trees, fresh air, and the gentle rhythm of the water, this is a place intentionally set apart from the noise of everyday life—a place where you can pause, breathe, and simply be. My hope is that when you arrive, you feel like you’ve stepped into a safe space, a kind of “bubble of love,” where you are supported, held, and completely at ease.
I often think of my studio as a kind of bubble of love—a small, quiet space set apart just enough from the outside world. You’ll notice the red heart above the door as you arrive, a simple reflection of the intention I’ve put into creating a place that feels warm, safe, and welcoming. Inside, the space is calm and uncluttered, designed to help you settle in and relax. From the north window, you can look out over the peaceful waters of Sebago Lake, while the south window opens to untouched Maine woods. Surrounded by water and trees, it’s a space that naturally supports stillness, grounding, and gentle healing.
What is Reiki?
Reiki, as I practice it, is a gentle and supportive form of energy work that helps bring the body and mind back into balance. My focus is on creating space for relaxation, healing, and grounding—whether you’re feeling physically depleted, emotionally overwhelmed, or simply in need of time to reconnect with yourself. I also work with athletes who are looking to support recovery, improve focus, and stay aligned both physically and mentally. Every session is different, because every person is different. I take the time to get to know you and understand what’s going on in your life before we begin. From there, we allow the session to unfold naturally, guided by what your body and energy need in that moment. Sessions are one hour long and are designed to be a quiet, uninterrupted time for you to rest and receive. I do ask that clients arrive on time, with a 15-minute grace period, so we can honor both your time and the space we’re creating together.
